The Challenge
DR required a reliable and user-friendly touchscreen application for live coverage of the 2020 US election. The project needed to be completed within a tight deadline of under a month and meet the high standards of national live television broadcasting.
Our Solution
BUSY developed an application using React (TypeScript) and Firebase Realtime Database, mirroring election results from the Associated Press. The UI featured a dynamic US map with live results and an interactive mandate calculator, allowing the host to simulate election outcomes.
